SSIPMT Raipur Organizes Three-Day Professional Development Programme on Teaching and Administrative Effectiveness

The Department of Civil Engineering at Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management & Technology (SSIPMT), Raipur, successfully organized a Three-Day Professional Development Programme (PDP) on the theme “Enhancing Teaching and Administrative Effectiveness through Leadership, Digital Tools and Professional Skills” from 20 to 22 August 2026.
The programme was organized with the objective of enhancing the professional competencies of faculty members and strengthening their teaching, leadership, research, and administrative skills in the evolving higher education environment.
The programme featured three insightful sessions delivered by distinguished faculty experts from the Department of Civil Engineering, SSIPMT, Raipur.
On Day 1 (20 August 2026), Mr. Anant Kumar delivered a session on “Effective Classroom Management and Student Engagement Strategies,” focusing on effective classroom practices and techniques to promote active student participation.
On Day 2 (21 August 2026), Mr. Pankaj Kumar Chand conducted a session on “NEP 2020 and Digital Transformation in Higher Education,” highlighting the significance of the National Education Policy 2020 and the integration of digital tools into academic practices.
On Day 3 (22 August 2026), Mr. Divyarth Manas delivered a session on “Research, Innovation, and Academic Excellence through Digital Tools,” emphasizing the role of technology in strengthening research capabilities, encouraging innovation, and improving academic outcomes.
The programme aimed to equip participants with contemporary teaching methodologies, digital competencies, leadership skills, and innovative approaches to academic and administrative responsibilities. It also emphasized the importance of sustainable and resilient infrastructure, research advancement, and industry-oriented applications in civil engineering education.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Shri Nishant Tripathi, Chairman (B.G.), SSIPMT Raipur, and Dr. Alok Kumar Jain, Principal, SSIPMT Raipur, with the support of Dr. Tarun Kumar Rajak, Head, Department of Civil Engineering.
Ms. Sarika Ghamforia, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, SSIPMT Raipur, served as the Programme Coordinator and contributed to the planning and coordination of the event.
The initiative reflects SSIPMT’s continued commitment to faculty development, quality education, digital transformation, research, and innovation. The programme provided a valuable platform for professional learning and encouraged the adoption of effective, technology-enabled teaching and administrative practices.
